The Famous Four was formed in 2007 to play home grown and often impromptu arrangements of classic tunes and rarities from the 1920s and 1930s while at the same time absorbing influences from many other styles of jazz.
The Quartet is ideal for intimate venues as a feature or as a scene setter, where audiences are entranced by the constant interplay and imagination of the musicians.
The Famous Four is made up of some of the Uk's finest exponents of classic jazz with; Chris on Trombone, Ben Cummings on Trumpet, Martin Wheatley on Guitar and Richard White on Bass Saxophone, and naturally all the members also sing.
Special guests with the band have included; Enrico Tomasso and Alan Barnes.
